Handcrafted with Care & Patience
At Pearltide, we believe in Slow Fashion. Unlike mass-produced jewelry, your earrings are handcrafted and assembled in our artisan studio. We do not keep a massive inventory to ensure that every gold-filled piece remains fresh and perfectly polished.
Shipping Timeline
- Production & Handling: Please allow 2-5 business days for us to hand-select your pearls and prepare your order.
- International Shipping: We ship directly from our workshop in Asia to your doorstep.
- UK & US Standard: 8-15 business days.
- Note: You will receive a tracking number as soon as your order is dispatched.
Returns & Refunds
1.14-Day Return Policy We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return. We believe this is sufficient time to decide if the piece is right for you.
2. Hygiene Exception (Please Read) Important: For health and hygiene safety, earrings (pierced jewelry) cannot be returned if the transparent hygiene seal/packaging has been opened, tampered with, or broken. We can only accept returns for earrings that are completely unworn and remain in their original, sealed packaging.
- Because each design is produced in limited quantities, returns are accepted for up to three items per order. Orders containing more than three items may be eligible for exchange or store credit only. This ensures fairness and protects our limited inventory.
- Custom and sample pieces are final sale.
- Products sold as sets must be returned in full; partial returns (for example, returning the chain without its pendant) are not accepted.
- For orders totaling $1,000 or more, our team may require additional order verification before shipment.
3. How to Start a Return To start a return, you can contact us at support@pearltide.co. If your return request meets our criteria, we will provide you with the return address instructions.
- Please Note: Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
4. Damages and Issues (Revised)
Please inspect your order upon reception. If the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, please contact us immediately (within 48 hours) with photos so that we can evaluate the issue.
Please Note regarding Natural Pearls: Our jewelry features genuine Baroque pearls. By definition, these are organic gemstones with irregular shapes and surface textures. Slight variations in size, shape, and natural growth marks are characteristics of the pearl, NOT defects. These natural features are proof of authenticity and will not be considered as "damaged" or "defective" items for free return shipping purposes.
5. Exceptions / Non-returnable items Certain types of items cannot be returned:
- Custom products (such as special orders or personalized items).
- Earrings with broken hygiene seals (as mentioned above).
6. European Union 14 day cooling off period Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As stated above, for hygiene reasons, earrings must remain in their sealed, unopened packaging to be eligible for a full refund.
7. Refunds We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
